Vehicle Description
- This 1984 Audi is a bespoke Sport Quattro rally car evocation, inspired by the icons of Group B, custom-built with a shortened wheelbase (32cm) and a modified windscreen angle. The car has covered just 500 km since its build.
- It is now powered by a built and forged Garrett turbocharged 2.2-litre 20-valve inline-five, which currently delivers 437hp and 519Nm to all four wheels through a ‘01E’ six-speed short-ratio ‘dog-box’ manual transmission with self-locking differentials.
- The car is noted to not be road registered, and was built for competition use.
- EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES
- This Quattro is finished in white with a yellow lower section and central stripe, as well as various sponsor decals, creating an impressive homage to the Group B period Audi HB liveries.
- It rides on white 16-inch five-spoke Compomotive alloy wheels, which are with Toyo Proxes R888 tyres.
- The specification includes VDO dials, drilled pedals, a fire extinguisher, a white roll cage, a Sparco steering wheel, and two black Recaro bucket seats with red Sabelt harnesses.
- The car now features a ‘01E’ six-speed short-ratio ‘dog-box’ manual transmission, front, central and rear self-locking differentials, three-way adjustable Proflex suspension, an ATL FIA-approved flexible fuel tank with surge tank and integrated dual 044 fuel pumps, MaxxEcu Race engine management, a Garrett G25-550 turbocharger with ceramic bearings, a forged engine block, reinforced cylinder head valves and springs, Porsche brakes, a Wildwood pedal box, AP Racing brake master cylinders, custom Sport Quattro running gear, and Uniball ball joints.
- The car comes with its French registration certificate

- The Recaro seats which are pictured in the interior have expired and would need replacing if the car is to be used in FIA racing or competition events.
- there are slight cracks in the fibreglass on the left front wing and the bonnet, and there is a paint defect on the rear spoiler.
- This Quattro was last serviced by Vintage & Racing Services SRL. The work comprised of an engine oil and filter change, and a rolling road test with an engine map adjustment on dyno.
- Prior to this, the car benefitted from a full vehicle inspection and an engine analysis, the cam belt has been replaced in 2023.
