De 1M Coupé is een van de leukste auto’s die BMW de afgelopen twintig jaar heeft uitgebracht. Achterwielaandrijving met sper, een handbak en een zes-in-lijn met 340 pk zijn alle ingrediënten voor een pretpakket aanwezig. En dat alles in dikke compacte carrosserie.
De 1M is en blijft een imposante auto met zijn verbreedde wielkasten, vier uitlaattips en 19 inch competition velgen. De 1M deelt een flink deel van zijn onderstel met de M3 E92. Hoewel de 1M het met minder pk’s moet doen is dit bommetje bijna net zo snel als de M3, met een 0-100-tijd van 4,9 seconden. Belangrijker nog: de 1M is lichter, compacter en speelser. De 1M is daarnaast één van de zeldzaamste M-modellen waarvan er slechts 6300 zijn gemaakt. Dat is 3x zo weinig als dat er van de BMW E30 M3 zijn geproduceerd.
Uitgevoerd in Black Sapphire Metallic met in het interieur veel alcantara en contrasterende rode stiksels. Deze 1M heeft alle aandacht gehad die hij verdient. Geleverd in België op 10 april 2012 aan zijn eerste en enige eigenaar.

La 1M Coupé est l’une des plus belles voitures produites par BMW au cours des 20 dernières années. La propulsion arrière à glissement limité, la boîte de vitesses manuelle et le moteur six cylindres en ligne de 340 ch sont autant d’ingrédients qui font de ce véhicule un véritable plaisir. Le tout dans une carrosserie épaisse et compacte.
La 1M est et reste une voiture imposante avec ses passages de roues élargis, ses quatre embouts d’échappement et ses jantes de compétition de 19 pouces. La 1M partage une grande partie de son châssis avec la M3 E92. Bien que la 1M doive se contenter d’une puissance moindre, cette petite bombe est presque aussi rapide que la M3, avec un temps de 0 à 100 en 4,9 secondes. Plus important encore, la 1M est plus légère, plus compacte et plus ludique. En outre, la 1M est l’un des modèles M les plus rares, qui n’a été fabriqué qu’à 6 300 exemplaires. C’est trois fois moins que le nombre de BMW E30 M3 produites.
Fini en noir saphir métallisé avec beaucoup d’alcantara et de surpiqûres rouges contrastantes à l’intérieur. Ce 1M a reçu toute l’attention qu’il mérite. Livré en Belgique le 10 avril 2012 à son premier et unique propriétaire.
