Vehicle Description

We are selling our beloved converted Sprinter Camper Van due to the birth of our second child. The Van served us super well and is ideal for a family of 3. We had a great time with it its ideal to explore the nature campsites in the Netherlands or for a multi month trip like we did through Europe. The Van used to be a police van and was used as a laboratory. That’s why it had little milage when we bought it two years ago and is very well maintained and in great condition. We just had the APK inspection and had a service done at Mercedes to make sure it is in good condition when we sell it.
The Van has the following highlight features:
  • Automatic (Ideal when driving long distances or stuck in traffic)
  • It is BPM (private motor vehicle and motorcycle tax) free because it’s older than 17 years. Which reduces the monthly cost of the vehicle significantly.
  • High Quality Solar Pannel “Wattstunde WS160” (We never needed electricity at any Campsite on our 3 Month trip through Europe)
  • Voltic VLT Lithium Battery with Bluetooth 100Ah
  • Victron solar charger with Bluetooth connection 220 Watt
  • Battery protection
  • All electric components mentioned above are high quality, were prebuilt and connected by an electrician and cost around 3500 €. Invoice can be shown for proof
  • Markise / Awning for sun protection while camping
  • Webasto diesel parking heater
  • Mosquito net for side door
  • High quality Camping chairs and Table
  • Euro Carry Bike Carrier for this Sprinter Model, 435 €
  • Carbest Thermoinsulation for front windows
  • Foldable “Camp Sleep Mattress” for the front ideal for a child which cost 360 € and was bought new two years ago (1.60 x 73 x 10 cm)
  • Dometic CoolMatic CRX 65 Kompressor-Fridge, 12/24V, 60L, which we bought new for 880 €
  • Dometic MO9722R Gas Cooking stove and sink which we bought for new for 590 €
  • “Trelino Dry Toilet” almost new and only once used. Also newly bought for 380 €
  • Additional Dometic S4 side window including mosquito net and blinds. 550 €
  • 55 Liter Watertank and powerful waterpump for outside shower and sink in the front
  • Bed 1.60m x 2.00m, bed frame with slide-in option to 1.60m x 1.50m for daytime
  • Bearlock security system against theft, installed for 649 €
  • USB, USB-C and 12v sockets
  • Plenty of storage space
  • Roof ventilator
  • Premium Armaflex insulation added on the floor, walls and roof
  • All-season tires
  • Outside Camping power outlet including cable for camping electricity. (which we never really needed)
We bought the van two years ago from a car dealership in the Netherlands. We paid 19.000 € and had the car inspected before we bought it. We converted the van into a camper ourselves with the help of professionals. We invested more than 15.000 € in materials, electrics and kitchen etc. That’s why we think this is a very fair price. The van is officially a camper and approved by the RDW. There is nothing wrong with the car and we are not under pressure to sell it. We would love to sell it to an outdoor and adventure loving family like we are to make sure it is placed in good hands. Since we spent so many hours converting it.
We had the Airbags unplugged by a mechanic in Haarlem because we were using it with a car seat in the front. This is still the case and ideal for any family who wants to travel with the van. According to the Mechanic it is possible to have the airbags switched on again, but we did not want to do that in case a family wants to buy the van and needs it the same way we did. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
