Introduced at the 1975 Paris Motor Show, the 308 GTB quickly became a popular choice among sports car enthusiasts. It was praised for its combination of performance and handling, and for its sleek, aerodynamic design. The car's Quattrovalvole engine was particularly notable for delivering exceptional power and torque while being relatively economical. Over the course of its production, the 308 GTB underwent several updates and modifications. A fuel-injected version of the car was introduced in 1977, and in 1979 the car received a minor facelift that included modified headlights and bumpers. The last version of the 308 GTB, the Quattrovalvole, was introduced in 1982 and remained in production until 1985.
Our very original 1985 Ferrari 308 GTB Quattrovalvole was imported new through garage Francorchamps which was the importer at the time and was sold through Ferrari Monza to its proud first owner. In addition, she is one of only 748 produced, hugely few if you compare that +- 12,000 308GTBs were made. Therefore, the owner took the safe bet and had an electronic anti-theft device installed at Garage Francorchamps itself.
The car is not only fully matching numbers & colours but also still resides in its first paint. Over the years, she has been owned by a single owner who always took care of her with heart and soul. This results in a complete maintenance history that proves she was always correctly serviced by Ferrari Monza. The very original condition and technically perfect condition are a reflection of the low mileage of 66,512 km and the fact that the car is still almost entirely in its first paint which still shines like new.
Known for its performance, style and engineering excellence, the car remains a benchmark for sports cars of its time. It is a true classic that combines timeless style with modern performance. The car's 3.0L V8 engine is a work of art and is mated to a smooth, responsive manual transmission, giving you complete control over the car's acceleration and handling. Moreover, the sound coming out of the car's exhaust is simply music to your ears. While driving, you immediately get the 80s feeling, what more could a person want? Whether driving through the city or tearing along a winding mountain road, the 308GTB is a car made for driving. But the 308GTB is not just about performance. The car's highly original interior is also impressive, with high-quality materials and finishes. The seats are comfortable and supportive, and the dashboard is elegantly designed, with all gauges and controls within easy reach.
We rarely come across them in this exceptional original condition, this is your chance to own a well-preserved, original and perfectly driving Ferrari 308 GTB Quattrovalvole. No expense to anticipate, ready for years of driving pleasure!
