Vehicle Description
Bike is more than perfect. I have a few bikes and keep them in really good shape, also use them regularly.
The NS has had a thorough revision and fine tuning, both in mechanics as well as in aesthetics, over the years that I have owned it. It runs very smooth and regular up to 10,500rpm.
It currently mounts its original 125 cc piston, with an Adige bi-metal head, a 28mm dell’Orto carburettor, and the Tiger expansion muffler (this is THE go-to muffler for any NS passionate and is developed by a guy who used to work for Arrow and Simonini). I also fitted a new front brake pump, very recent Heidenau tyres and a new battery.
I have, of course, all the original mechanical parts.
I am also including a new Polini 160cc kit, including gaskets, which I was intending to mount but never did so.
The bike is certified as historical/collectors item with the Italian Motorcycle Federation (FMI) which, in Italy, gives you a very low insurance pricing and the ability to drive even in the places that have emission restrictions.
What the bike needs, if you want to have it reeeeally perfect, is a new rear suspension. The best is Bitubo and it currently sells for around 350€. Also, you could fit new brake lines, which can be tailor made for around 100€.
