Vehicle Description
1952 Jaguar XK 120 FHC
This car was delivered by Charles Hornburg, Los Angeles California to its first owner W.A.Baker in April 1952. The car had originally a battleship grey exterior over a red interior.
This rather exciting color combo has been changed in 1980 by the father of the last USA owner to Primrose yellow exterior over a black interior.
The car was bought by a Dutch collector from the current owner after his father possessed the car for 39 years.
This XK 120 can be driven ‘as is’ or is an excellent candidate for a (concours) restoration.
We noticed that the Moss gearbox is in need of gentle treatment (double clutch and slow shifting)for shifting down from 4 to 3 and third to second gear.
-Good driving condition
-Solid chassis and body
-Nice chrome
-Paint shows age
-Éarly FHC with correct features ( grill, front window chrome)
-JDHT Certificate
-Matching #
-Dutch Registration
-Tool roll
-Tyre pump
-Grease gun
-Jack
-Well maintained and work done on bushings, choke, brakes,
-84K miles believed to be original
