Vehicle Description
Land Rover Series IIa 88" 1968 with front disc brakes
The car is very straight, this is because almost all panels have been replaced with brand new ones. The doors are new and have galvanised frames. The wings are New Old Stock. Both the bulkhead and chassis are new and galvanised. All other steel parts have been re-galvanised or powder coated. So rust is no longer a problem for this car.
The interior features digital gauges with various adjustable functions, custom-made floor mats, a wooden steering wheel, wooden gear knob and newly upholstered seats in Barley leather. The classic headlights have been replaced with special LED lights while maintaining the classic look.
The car not only stands out for its classic look; it also features significant upgrades. The engine has been completely rebuilt with all ACR Powerplus upgrades, including an upgraded carburettor, optimised camshaft, Stage 2.2 Big Valve CR 9:1 cylinder head, stainless steel 4-2-1 exhaust system and advanced 123 electronic ignition with Bluetooth anti-theft function. The axles, gearbox and transfer case have also been completely overhauled. The front drum brakes have also been replaced by disc brakes. In addition, the standard leaf springs have been replaced with parabolic leaf springs.
The car comes with a bikini top (see last photo). This can be traded in for a full soft top if required.
If you would like to see this beautiful car in real life or take a test drive, feel free to contact us. If you would like your own fully converted Land Rover Series but don't really like the specs on this one, you can also come to us to have your own Land Rover Series fully built to your taste and requirements. We have a stock of 8+ old Land Rovers ready to be restored. The car and our workshop are located in Veurne, Belgium, at the E40 exit, near the French-Belgian border.
