Vehicle Description
For sale from collector and passionate petrolhead:
A unique Dutch registered and original Dutch QP Series II from early 1967, one of the only 9 ever newly sold in The Netherlands, with only 3 owners from new.
First owner: 1967-1985
Second owner: 1985-2020
Third owner: 01/2020-now
This is a very well maintained Maserati that delivered us a lot of pleasure and brought us in September 2021 from Mantova to Perugia and back during the GP Nuvolari.
This is a true drivers car.
But not a completely (over)restored car.
A Maserati that has been used for multiple road trips and classic car rally’s and - above all - brings you home.
The body has been resprayed back in the Nineties here in Holland. It’s certainly not perfect, no damage though, no rust, some cracks etc in the paints.
A re-spray one day would do, I have a very good address for that, but no must at all and I would leave it “as is”.
The interior is original and in good condition, leather shows no lose parts, does not need new upholstery.
The engine picks up smoothly, the clutch and gears work perfectly well, brakes are good and renewed, and it has an expensive (Aftermarket €5000) Servo steering installed you can switch on and off.
It used hardly any oil during my ca. 3500 km’s since the purchase early 2020 and we have invested over €10.000 to replace the cooler, repair and upgrade several things, get everything sorted, and now, after the Nuvolari and some other nice road trips, it’s time to say goodbye again and hand it over to a new owner appreciating the great QP shape with its Grandeur, and overall state with the described Patina.
It comes with a “Fiva Card A3 rating”.
Are you looking for a showroom / fully restored QP, sorry this is not the one and that can’t be found for this pricing.
Are you looking for a great reliable driver’s car, with unique Dutch heritage and in good overall condition, here it is.
Only serious enquiries please and trade-in of a nice classic or other new(er) interesting car could be considered
