Avantgarde Facelift Model - EURO 4

I have owned the car for about 2.5 years. I am selling due to consolidation of cars.

I bought the car as a project, and I have spent money on the mechanical work on it during this time to make it a great holiday car with kids. It is a 20-year-old car, so the usual wear and tear is associated with a car of this age. It does not blow smoke; it starts, and it drives well. It is reliable. Is it perfect—no, but it is a good car. It has been priced accordingly.

I am open to offers, and I can say yes or no; or even better, you can come and see the car and negotiate on the spot.

The Good:

• Everything "works"—the electrics, air conditioning, front and rear parking sensors, etc. The dashboard does not have lights, and the leather seats do not have holes or tears.
• I have serviced and maintained it regularly since I have owned it doing a lot of preventative maintenance.
• Big service, including spark plugs done in March 2023
• Regular service was done in March 2024
• New Michelin front tires + wheel alignment April 2024
• Some of the items repaired are -
• Both rear springs
• Front drivers suspension strut
• Control arms both sides
• Exhaust work
• Air Con regas & service July 2023
• and more work done
• It goes on regular long trips without issue e.g. Paris in May
• Trekhaak is in the boot

The not-so-good:

• There is a little rust—but not like other C Klasse Mercedes of this era. Some is over the rear passenger wheel arch, some surface rust on the top of the rear passenger door, and some in the tailgate (not seen). See the attached photos.
• The driver's side seat heating does not work
• The sunroof does not open
• The tailgate only opens from the remote/key
