Een Mercedes-Benz uit de 107-serie is een auto die we wel vaker tegenkomen in onze showroom, maar de staat waarin dit exemplaar verkeert hebben we nog nooit eerder gezien. De 380 SL die we hier te koop aanbieden is voor ruim € 90.000,- gerestaureerd en verkeert in een concoursstaat. Het is net of de auto zo uit de fabriek is gerold. Het gaat hier om een nut-and-bolt restauratie die in de periode van 2017-2019 is uitgevoerd door een Mercedes-Benz specialist. De hele restauratie is vastgelegd in een zeer uitgebreide fotoreportage en alle facturen zijn netjes bewaard gebleven. Zelfs de originele boekjes zijn nog aanwezig en zijn tellerstand van 125.700 km is dan ook volledig aantoonbaar. De auto wordt aangedreven door de matching numbers 3.8 Ltr. V8 motor die na de restauratie slechts 3000 km heeft gereden.

A Mercedes-Benz from the 107 series is a car that we often encounter in our showroom, but we have never seen the condition this one is in before. The 380 SL that we offer for sale here has been restored for over € 90,000 and is in concours condition. It's like the car just rolled out of the factory. This is a nut-and-bolt restoration carried out by a Mercedes-Benz specialist in the period 2017-2019. The entire restoration has been recorded in a very extensive photo report and all invoices have been neatly preserved. Even the original booklets are still present and its odometer reading of 125,700 km is fully demonstrable. The car is powered by the matching numbers 3.8 Ltr. V8 engine that has driven only 3000 km after the restoration.
