TS250 Coupé

Een zeer bijzondere auto in sublieme conditie, dat is kenmerkend voor deze volledig nieuw gerestaureerde Goggomobil TS250 coupé uit 1966. Deze bijzondere dwergauto is niet alleen leuk om te zien, maar ook leuk om te rijden. De Goggomobil TS250 werd geïntroduceerd door de firma Glas in 1957 en was leverbaar als de TS250, de TS300 en de TS400. De getallen geven de cilinderinhoud van de motor weer. Deze prachtige TS250 is oorspronkelijk geleverd in Duitsland en heeft vooral in de omgeving Bonn en Wuppertal gereden. Het originele eigenarenboekje is nog aanwezig. In 1983 is de auto voor het eerst in Nederland geregistreerd.

In Nederland heeft de auto verschillende eigenaren gehad. De laatste eigenaar heeft de auto met zeer veel oog voor detail en perfectie volledig laten restaureren. Hiervan zijn foto’s aanwezig en er is ook een mooi redactioneel stuk uit een automagazine aanwezig over deze unieke auto. Tijdens de body-off restauratie is alles volledig vernieuwd en bij de grondige motorrevisie is de motor gewijzigd naar TS300 specificaties. Ook het interieur is geheel vernieuwd en de stoelen en achterbank zijn opnieuw bekleed. Er zijn diverse facturen aanwezig van deze restauratie. Het is duidelijk te zien dat deze restauratie op zeer hoog niveau is uitgevoerd.

Het lakwerk en de carrosserie zijn nog in perfecte nieuwstaat. Ook de diverse chroom en sierdelen zijn in sublieme conditie. Alle carrosseriedelen sluiten zeer goed op elkaar aan. De mooie volledig nieuwe white-wall banden vormen een mooie combinatie met de witte buitenkleur. Ook de onderzijde van de auto is als nieuw. Dit geldt ook voor het interieur, wat nog in smetteloze conditie is. Het dashboard ziet er prachtig uit en alle instrumenten werken naar behoren.

Als we de motorkap open doen, zien we ook een bijzonder mooie en smetteloze motorruimte. Ook hier glimt alles mooi en de tweetakt tweecilinder motor loopt soepel en rustig. De auto rijdt en schakelt prima en ook de remmen werken naar behoren. Sturen gaat heel soepel in deze zeer complacte klassieke auto.

We overdrijven niet als we zeggen dat deze auto in volledige nieuwstaat is. Wie een perfect gerestaureerde en bijzonder leuke dwergauto zoekt, heeft met deze Goggomobil TS250 de juiste auto gevonden!

A very special car in superb condition, that is characteristic of this completely newly restored Goggomobil TS250 coupe from 1966. This special dwarf car is not only nice to see, but also fun to drive. The Goggomobil TS250 was introduced by the Glas company in 1957 and was available as the TS250, TS300 and TS400. The numbers indicate the cylinder capacity of the engine. This beautiful TS250 was originally delivered in Germany and has mainly driven in the Bonn and Wuppertal area. The original owner's booklet is still present. The car was first registered in the Netherlands in 1983.

In the Netherlands, the car has had several owners. The last owner had the car fully restored with great attention to detail and perfection. Photos of this are available and there is also a nice editorial from a car magazine about this unique car. During the body-off restoration everything was completely renewed and during the thorough engine overhaul the engine was changed to TS300 specifications. The interior has also been completely renewed and the seats and rear seat have been reupholstered. There are several invoices for this restoration. It is clear to see that this restoration has been carried out at a very high level.

The paint and bodywork are still in perfect new condition. The various chrome and trim parts are also in superb condition. All body parts fit together very well. The beautiful completely new white-wall tires form a nice combination with the white exterior color. The underside of the car is also like new. This also applies to the interior, which is still in immaculate condition. The dashboard looks beautiful and all instruments work properly.

When we open the hood, we also see a particularly beautiful and immaculate engine compartment. Here too everything shines beautifully and the two-stroke two-cylinder engine runs smoothly and quietly. The car drives and shifts fine and the brakes work properly. Steering is very smooth in this very compact classic car.
