Offered from estate: a 1974 Excalibur Phaeton Series 2. This convertible came to the Netherlands from the USA in 1999 and has been in family ownership ever since.
An Excalibur is a hand-crafted, original car, which is inspired by the old classics from the early 1900s. You can find more about this special brand and its founder online. Of all the Excalibur series that were produced, the Series 2 is the rarest.
The car is a real muscle car. Under the hood is a 7.5 liter “454” V8 linked to an automatic gearbox. The engine is equipped with a Holley carburetor and Edelbrock manifold. The performance of the car is very good and the sound is phenomenal.
The convertible comes with a cover, with which the car can be closed. The cover can partially remain in place while driving. There is a luggage case on the back of the car that can be removed if desired. In addition, a hardtop is included. This hard top needs to be renovated.
The classic car is in good, original and driving condition with normal signs of wear commensurate with its age. The tachometer is not working at the moment. The car has recently been serviced, where a new battery was installed. The mileage is +- 64.000.
