Vehicle Description
Porsche 911 2.7 Carrera US-spec
How often do you find a car from 1975 that is completely original and fully documented?
The Porsche we present here is such a car. One of a true enthusiast.
In 1975 the car was ordered by Mr. George Solhan from California. Black lacquer with Cinnamon interior and gold Carrera logos. The black paint is still completely original to this day, except for a rear mudguard that was sprayed in the Netherlands for cosmetic reasons. The car has never had any damage and in some places the paint is almost polished through, beautiful to see and unique for a sports car of that age. The interior is also completely original and in perfect condition. After the purchase, Solhan kept a detailed booklet in which all work on the car was documented. A large file with invoices is also present. He would keep the Porsche until 2013, after which it was sold to Mr. Riccardo Bernard from Finland. After the car was first delivered in Finland, Mr. Bernard took him to Monaco, from where he was eventually sold to the current owner in 2022 via Porsche Centrum Gelderland. In 2021, Porsche Gelderland carried out a very extensive maintenance for 20,000 euros. An invoice for this is also available.
Driving this car is like traveling in a time machine. From the moment you get in, you imagine yourself in 1975! Everything is right and everything on the car works perfectly. The six-cylinder boxer starts immediately and produces a nice deep rumble. Shifting, steering and braking, everything feels great and it is a pleasure to drive the 911 through the gears. Once back from the trip, it remains a special experience to browse through the history. The maintenance booklet, Mr. Solhan's logbook and the many other documents that come with the car make this a unique example. Nowadays it is almost impossible to find such an original Porsche.
We would like to invite you to come and view this car in our showroom and tell you all about it.
