Vehicle Description
Finished in Onyx Green Metallic over light gray Quito leather, the “Niseko Commission” is powered by an Ed Pink-built 4.0-liter flat-six that drives the rear wheels via a close-ratio six-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential. Additional features include carbon-fiber body panels, individual throttle bodies, Öhlins adjustable shock absorbers, Brembo cross-drilled and ventilated disc brakes with black calipers, staggered-width 17” Fuchs-style forged aluminum wheels with Champagne Nickel spokes, 24k-gold-plated badging, four-way adjustable Recaro sport seats, Torre del Lago Nubuck interior accents, air conditioning, and power windows.
The cabin is trimmed in light gray Quito leather with leather-weave inserts over four-way adjustable Recaro front sport seats and rear seats, while matching woven leather covers the door panels and rear side panels. Torre del Nago Nubuck trim covers the door caps, dash, rear shelf, A- and B-pillars, targa hoop, and roof, while the center tunnel, sills, and rear surfaces are finished in Onyx Green. Additional features include an African Blackwood shift knob, piano-black front seatbacks, black square-weave floor mats, matte black drilled footboards and pedals, a 24k-gold-plated Singer dash badge, nickel-color “everything is important” sill script, air conditioning, power windows, a Porsche Classic navigation radio, and diamond-stitched leather trim in the front compartment.
The air-cooled, naturally aspirated flat-six was rebuilt to a displacement of 4.0 liters by Ed Pink Racing Engines of Los Angeles, California, and it was rated by Singer at 400 horsepower and 315 lb-ft of torque. Custom components are said to include the crankshaft, pistons, cylinders, connecting rods, camshafts, cylinder heads, oil pump, and intake system, the latter of which features a ceramic-coated plenum atop individual throttle bodies.
