La Storia in Breve:
Porsche 911 – 996 40 Jahre. Nel 2003 è toccato alla famiglia della 996 festeggiare il raggiungimento di un importante traguardo. La 911 per il quarantesimo anniversario dall’inizio delle vicende è la versione “40 Jahre”, una 996 Carrera con trazione posteriore ma un equipaggiamento davvero esagerato: tutti i 1.963 esemplari della serie sono verniciati in colore grigio GT metallizzato. Esternamente questa versione presenta ruote in lega da 18” con finitura lucida, scudo paraurti anteriore della 996 Turbo e targhetta identificativa posteriore. Il motore, il 6 cilindri boxer di 3,6 litri con raffreddamento a liquido, presenta il kit di potenziamento X51 da 345 Cv. Gli interni presentano un allestimento speciale: volante sportivo a tre razze, sedili sportivi in pelle (riscaldati) in colore grigio GT, navigatore satellitare, clima bizona, telefono, tunnel centrale, leva del cambio e anelli della strumentazione in tinta carrozzeria.
