Lanciata nel 2016 , laseconda edizione della Porsche Panamera si rinnova adottando uno stile più dinamico e grintoso lunga 520 cm ,all'interno troviamo il volante con i comandi multifunzione ridisegnati ,l'orologio analogico che ripete lo stile degli orologi Porsche Design.
Migliorato anche il sistema multimediale PCM con un processore più potente Apple Car Play e Android Auto.
I miglioramenti meccanici riguardano innanzi tutto le sospensioni a controllo elettronico con un sistema di gestione PASM .
Aumentato la potenza di batteria e per migliorare l'efficenza del sistema ibrido la casa è intervenuta anche sulla modalità di ricarica in decelerazione e frenata.
Il guidatore può scegliere fra le diverse modalità di guida ,l'E-POWER privilegia il sistema elettrico ,mentre quella denominata Hbrid-auto gestisce l'intervento dei due motori ,infine nella modalità Sport e Sport Plus si orienta l'autovettura all'ottenimento delle massime prestazioni.
Infine per ricaricare gli accumulatori sfruttando il cavo da 3,6 KW ci vogliono circa 4,8 ore .
