Vehicle Description
Very neat, original Dutch delivered Triumph Dolomite 1850 HL from 1975. This beautiful Dolly has been in the possession of the same family since new. From grandpa, to grandson. Grandpa bought the car new in 1975 and drove it for many many years. The grandson recently had the car completely professionally straightened and resprayed in the original Carmine red color. The paintwork is beautiful, the Dolomite looks neat and sleek. What a wonderful car, you immediately imagine yourself back in the 70's with wide legged jeans and ladies in hot pants. The technology of this Triumph is in very good order, the car is very well maintained. A complete invoice history is supplied with the car. The last major maintenance was carried out in April 2024, during which the clutch set, clutch hydraulics, steering balls, ball joints and steering rack covers were replaced. In short, the car is completely ready to drive. Everything works as it should. The 1850 engine is in very neat condition, with perfect oil pressure. The gearbox shifts smoothly and the reconditioned brakes work perfectly. The interior is equipped with grey vinyl and very neat. The seats and backrest have been reupholstered. The beautiful wooden dashboard makes it classic and sporty at the same time. A period correct 70s radio with old-fashioned push buttons is mounted under the dashboard. The car has the original steel wheels mounted with rare hubcaps. A factory tow bar is mounted under the car, so the Constructam Caravan from the 70s or Travelsleeper can simply be placed behind it, now that’s what I call a classy and classic holiday. Because it is a four-door sedan, the kids can simply sit on the rear bench, a proper family car though.Who will go back to the 70s and become the new owner of this great Dolomite?
