The Madrid (SO73/5) is an attractive, relatively rare version of the T2 Westfalia with, among other things, L-shaped seating, refrigerator, sink and a lot of storage space. The van’s colour is Ceylon Beige (VW paint code L13H).

Equipped with a strong 68hp type-4 engine (1700cc). Directly from the 3rd owner. Including beautiful bright orange awning and lots of original documentation/history.

In 2023, the interior was thoroughly renovated and the bus received a major technical overhaul, including:
-completely new upholstery
-new floor
-new cylinders + pistons
- installation of 2nd (auxiliary) battery + 220v/12v inverter/charger + battery separation relay,
-new tires
-installation of electronic ignition
-new refrigerator (modern 12v compressor refrigerator)
-new tap + water tank
-new top bed (in pop-up roof)
-new chair mats/covers
-engine rubber check, clutch check
- Replace flywheel seal + crankshaft seal
-4x new spark plug + spark plug cables
-new V-belt, new air filter
- throttle cable check, wiring check on engine
-carburettors cleaned and set, valves set
-brakes and lights checked
-windshield dismantled, de-rusted, greased + new window rubber with ‘wide lip’ installed
-replace windshield wiper blades
-new ball joints and tie rods.

Finally: tested and passed Dutch MOT (APK) (final mandatory APK inspection, as the bus is older than 50 years).
